Exhibition of Ivanka Vana Prelevic's artworks In the Space for art

An exhibition of the artist Ivanka Vana Prelević was opened at the Space for Art in the Societe Generale Montenegro head office. Eight wall objects were exhibited, while the artist commented:
"These artworks are a series of landscapes made of a combination of seemingly incompatible materials - clay, cement and metal. Combining classical materials with the ones usually less used, I have come up with new art values that refresh the idea, creating new meanings.
Tapestry shapes - fluffy fibrous structures, having a soft shape, associate themselves with dreams and aspirations to nature. From the soft shapes cast metal elements are coming and threaten to capture and counter positive thoughts. I cut the contours of the landscape with a cement liner, with which I want to turn on to uncontrolled urbanization.
With the contrasts between concrete shapes and shapes of walnut I want to point to the unbalanced relationship between modern life and the natural environment. Throughout these works, I have been dealing with interpersonal abstinence - the lack of empathy of an individual that is reflected in the relationship between man and nature, when the concern and harmony of the relationship is only a fragile illusion. "
